The new plant, located at Savannah Portside International Park in Effingham County, will cost $41 million and bring 120 new jobs to the community.

Matt Saxon, chairman of the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority, said the addition of Underwood Ammo will diversify the job market and give residents more opportunities in the industrial sector. “This project will positively impact both our workforce and our local economy,” Saxon explained.
