ANOKA, MN — The Kinetic Group, parent company of major ammunition brands including Federal, CCI, Speer, Remington, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Blazer, and B&P, has announced upcoming price increases across its ammunition lines.

In a letter sent to customers on August 13, 2025, Brett Nelson, Vice President of Sales, cited rising costs of raw materials such as brass, antimony, lead, and propellants as the driving factor behind the adjustment.

The new pricing will take effect on October 14, 2025, and will apply to all orders shipped on or after October 1 unless canceled in advance. Revised price lists are expected to be released by September 1. The increases will vary by category:

  • Rifle Ammunition: 5–7%
  • Shotshell Ammunition: 7–10%
  • Handgun Ammunition: 3–12%

Nelson emphasized the company’s commitment to maintaining product quality and supporting American manufacturing jobs despite the challenging market dynamics.

While price hikes are not welcomed by shooters, hunters, or law enforcement agencies that depend on these brands, the rising costs of metals and components have been impacting the entire ammunition industry. For consumers, this underscores the importance of staying stocked and prepared ahead of upcoming increases.

The firearms community has seen similar adjustments over the past decade, especially during times of supply chain strain and higher global demand for metals. Ammunition makers often stress that these increases are necessary to maintain consistent quality and production capacity, which ultimately ensures shooters, hunters, and armed professionals have reliable products when they need them most.
